Media Player Classic 6.4.9.0 is a compact media player for Microsoft Windows.
The application mimics the look and feel of the old Windows Media Player 6.4, integrating options and features found in modern media players.
Media Player Classic is Licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License, and is free.
The program lets you open any multimedia file in your PC. You can even open a video file, using another soundtrack if needed, loaded from a separate file.
The program doesn´t need to be installed. It´s a single executable file that you can save wherever you want, and call it when you need it.
Media Player Classics lacks of some visual things that Windows Media Player has, but keeps its full functionality, power and ease of use. You can play file videos, DVDs, mp3, wav or whatever media you want to play. The program is fully configurable, you can set lots of options to adapt it to your needs.
You can even search subtitles for your video files (when this review was made, the search page wasn´t responding). |
- It´s ligh, easy to use and powerful.

- It´s a little uncomfortable that it doesn´t install. Of course, you can buld a direct access, but...
